Despite a strong career as a backstop with the Yankees, catcher Jorge Posada might only have a short stay on the Baseball Hall of Fame Ballot, writes Jay Jaffe of Sports Illustrated.
According to Jaffe, Posada, a mainstay behind the play and a member of the "Core Four," put together good numbers but some that might not compare to other candidates at catcher.
In 17 years, Posada made five All-Star Game appearances, hit 275 home runs and drove in 1,065 runs.
