The Yankees (98-53, 9.0 GA in AL East) begin their final homestand of the regular season against the Angels (68-82, 29.5 GB in AL West) Tuesday at 6:35 p.m. at Yankee Stadium.
Dellin Betances and Jordan Montgomery made their season debuts Sunday, but the Yankees fell 6-4 to the Blue Jays and lost the series 2-1. Betances allowed no hits or earned runs and struck out two batter in 0.2 innings pitched, while Montgomery also struck out another two, but allowed three earned runs on four hits in 2.0 innings of relief. Aaron Judge hit his 23rd home run of the season in the first inning. The Yankees' magic number remains at 2 with 11 games to play and are close to securing their first division title since 2012.

Who is starting for the Yankees?
RHP Luis Severino will make his long-awaited season debut Monday. The two-time All-Star missed nearly the entire season after being diagnosed with rotator cuff inflammation in his throwing shoulder back in March, before suffering a Grade 2 lat strain in April. He has a career 41-25 record with a 3.51 ERA and 572 strike outs. The third-place finalist for the 2017 Cy Young Award rehabbed with Double-A Trenton and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before returning for Tuesday night's game.
Who is starting for the Blue Jays?
LHP Jose Suarez (2-6, 6.94 ERA) is looking for just his second win of the second half and his first of the month, with his last win coming in a 5-3 victory over the Rays on June 15. In his last time out, he allowed six earned runs on four hits and two walks in three innings pitched, in an 8-0 loss to the Indians last week. The rookie pitcher will be facing the Yankees for the first time in his career.
The Yankees will continue their final homestand of the regular season Tuesday for what will be one of LHP CC Sabathia's (5-8, 4.95 ERA) final outings -- perhaps his last start -- at Yankee Stadium. LHP Dillion Peters (3-3, 4.83 ERA) will be on the mound for the Angels. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
