The Yankees were without OF Aaron Hicks in their Game 2 win, but don't expect that to be the case when the series enters the Bronx.
Hicks told NJ.com's Brendan Kuty that he "believes he'll start on Monday" when Game 3 kicks off at Yankee Stadium.
The veteran outfielder pulled up after a single in Game 1, and had to be replaced by Brett Gardner as he felt tightness in his hamstring. Luckily, an MRI on Saturday came back clean.
And though Hicks participated in a running workout with Aaron Boone watching along, the skipper decided to be cautious and put Gardner in the lineup for Game 2.
Gardner didn't get a hit, but he worked two walks and covered tons of ground to track down fly balls in the 6-2 win.
