Who is starting for the Yankees?
RHP Lance Lynn (5.09 ERA/3.99 FIP, 1.598 WHIP in 137.2 innings), who was roughed up his last time out when the Tigers scored six runs on nine hits to force him out of the game before he could complete four innings.
One start before that, on Aug. 28, Lynn completed 5.2 innings -- his longest outing since Aug. 6 -- and allowed just three runs against the White Sox.
Who is starting for the Mariners?
RHP Felix Hernandez (5.55 ERA/4.97 FIP, 1.381 WHIP in 147.2 innings), who will be making his second start against the Yankees this season after limiting them to just one run on two hits in five innings on June 20.
