Who is starting for the Yankees?
LHP CC Sabathia (3.02 ERA/4.21 FIP, 1.24 WHIP in 89.1 innings over 16 starts), who has been rolling of late. He picked up his second straight win after allowing two runs on five hits while striking out five and walking three over six innings.
Over his last seven starts, Sabathia has produced a 2.47 ERA with 37 strikeouts and 12 walks over 43.2 innings. He is continuing to provide the Yankees with quality outings on a rotation with many questions.
He has faced Baltimore only once this season, and he allowed three runs over four innings in what would turn into a no-decision.

RHP Jimmy Yacabonis (8.53ERA/6.12 FIP, 2.37 WHIP in three appearances this season) who was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk to make the Game 1 start today. Yacabonis has made three appearances in the bigs this season, with his latest coming on June 28 in his first big league start. He allowed two runs on six hits while striking out five and walking one over four innings.
Yacabonis has started all 14 games he's thrown in Triple-A this season, owning a 2.91 ERA and 3.96 FIP over 55.2 innings.
