The Yankees signed Gerrit Cole to a nine-year, $324 million contract this offseason, in hopes that he will be the team's ace on the mound for the majority of the next decade.
But could a position change to catcher be in his future?
Probably not, but Cole and and his wife Amy posted a video of them having a catch, with Amy on the would-be mound while Gerrit is crouched down in a catcher's stance.

We all know that Cole can deliver high-90s gas with a wicked breaking ball to go with it, but here it's Amy who shows off a strong fastball and what looks to be a sharp slider.
With the baseball world put on pause, many players have posted videos of themselves either working out of tossing the ball around to stay loose.
Cole pitched 9.0 innings for the Yankees this spring, allowing seven earned runs on 10 hits while striking out 13 batters.
Gary Sanchez probably does't have to be peering over his shoulder at Cole trying to steal the starting catching job for the Bombers anytime soon.
