The 2018 Yankees are going in the record books.
When Luke Voit hit his 10th home run of the season in pinstripes on Thursday against the Red Sox, he became the 12th player on the team to surpass double digit home runs. A new MLB record.

Voit joins Giancarlo Stanton (34), Didi Gregorius (26), Aaron Judge (26), Miguel Andujar (25), Aaron Hicks (24), Gleyber Torres (23), Gary Sanchez (16), Brett Gardner (12), Greg Bird (11), Neil Walker (10) and Austin Romine (10).
More records may fall still as the Yankees are slightly behind pace to break the all-time single-season record for home runs, set by the Seattle Mariners in 1997.
