Class A - South Atlantic League Southern Division - Charleston RiverDogs
Record: 24-28, 5th place, 10.0 GB
Charleston went 4-3 since the last report, losing another game in the standings.
No. 18 -- Glenn Otto (RHP) is currently on the seven-day disabled list. Otto had thrown 10 1/3 innings to the tune of a 3.48 ERA and 1.45 WHIP before being injured.
No. 19 -- Nolan Martinez (RHP) remains on the seven-day disabled list and has yet to pitch this season.
No. 21 -- Dermis Garcia (3B) went 4-for-21 since the last report and is hitting just .186 in 43 at-bats this season.
Making Noise -- Chad Martin (RHP) has yet to allow an earned run in 18 2/3 innings for the season. Martin has 20 strikeouts and is holding batters to a .077 batting average.
Advanced A - Florida State League North Division - Tampa Tarpons
Record: 27-26, 3rd place, 3.0 GB
Tampa went 3-5 and lost 1.5 games in the standings since the last report.
No. 2 (No. 38) -- Estevan Florial (OF) is on the disabled list until mid-August due to a right wrist injury that required surgery. Florial was hitting .246 with a .353 on-base percentage and a .343 slugging percentage in 156 plate appearances before the surgery.
No. 4 (No. 66) -- Albert Abreu (RHP) got the win in his last start despite being extremely erratic and inconsistent (five walks and eight strikeouts). In 22 innings, Abreu's ERA sits a 4.91 with a 1.23 WHIP and 29 strikeouts.
No. 7 -- Freicer Perez (RHP) was placed on the seven-day disabled list. Perez's ERA sits at 7.20 across 25 innings (six starts) this season.
No. 25 -- Nick Nelson (RHP) didn't last long in his last start (4 1/3 innings), but he didn't allow a run while striking out seven batters and walking four.
No. 26 -- Trevor Lane (LHP) returned to Tampa after a brief stint with Trenton in which he allowed six runs in just four innings across three appearances. Lane's rough patch continued in his first appearance back with Tampa, allowing two runs in 2/3 of an inning.
No. 27 -- Garrett Whitlock (RHP) lasted just 2 2/3 innings in his most recent start in which he didn't allow a run and struck out four batters.
No. 30 -- Isiah Gilliam (1B) has hits in seven of his last eight games and leads the Tarpons with 30 RBIs.
Making Noise -- Alexander Palma (OF) is hitting .318 with a .352 on-base percentage and .411 slugging percentage across 130 plate appearances.
Double-A - Eastern League Eastern Division - Trenton Thunder
Record: 32-21, 2nd place, 1.5 GB
Trenton went 5-2 since the last report, yet lost half a game in the standings.
No. 8 -- Domingo Acevedo (RHP) returned from the disabled list this week and hurled three scoreless innings without allowing a baserunner and struck out three batters.
No. 10 -- Dillon Tate (RHP) worked 13 innings this week, allowing six runs on nine hits and three walks while striking out 14. Tate owns a 3.64 ERA in 54 1/3 innings for the Thunder.
No. 13 -- Jonathan Loaisiga (RHP) had his first rough start of the season, coughing up four runs in five innings. Loaisiga struck out six batters without handing out a free pass. His ERA jumped to 3.50 in 18 innings with Trenton.
No. 14 -- Trevor Stephan (RHP) followed up a poor inaugural start with Trenton by hurling 5 2/3 innings of shutout ball. Stephan allowed just three baserunners and garnered seven strikeouts.
Making Noise -- Zack Zehner (OF) had a stellar week after being demoted to Trenton, going 11-for-31 with four doubles, a triple and two home runs to go along with 10 RBIs.
Triple-A - International League North Division - Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders
Record: 24-28, 6th place, 5.0 GB
The RailRiders went 3-4 since the last report and now sit in the division's cellar.
No. 3 (No. 41) -- Justus Sheffield (LHP) made his third start at the Triple-A level, tossing four innings of one-run ball. Sheffield allowed four hits, walked two and struck out four. Sheffield owns a 1.65 ERA in 16 1/3 innings with SWB.
No. 5 (No. 68) -- Chance Adams (RHP) lasted just 2/3 of an inning in his last start, surrendering three runs on one hit, three walks and a hit batter. Adams is in the midst of a horrific season as his ERA now stands at 5.93 over 44 innings (10 starts).
No. 10 -- Thairo Estrada (2B/SS) remains on the seven-day disabled list. In 33 at-bats with Scranton, Estrada was hitting just .152.
No. 16 -- Cody Carroll (RHP) made two appearances this week in which he did not allow a run. Carroll's ERA dropped to 1.90 in 23 2/3 innings.
No. 17 -- Billy McKinney (OF), who just began playing regularly, broke out of a slump with homers in two consecutive games, accumulating five hits in those contests.
No. 20 -- Giovanny Gallegos (RHP) made two straight scoreless appearances after allowing three runs in 1 1/3 innings on Saturday. Gallegos has a 7.36 ERA and 13 strikeouts in 7 1/3 innings for SWB.
No. 28 -- Ben Heller (RHP) is on the 60-day disabled list after undergoing Tommy John surgery in April.
Making Noise -- J.P. Feyerheisen (RHP) allowed just one run in 14 innings in May, including a current seven-game scoreless streak. In the span, Feyerheisen accumulated 17 strikeouts and his season ERA sits at a shiny 1.82.
