The Yankees optioned INF Miguel Andújar to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and reassigned OF Estevan Florial to minor league spring training, the team announced on Sunday.
Andújar hit .262 with four home runs and 10 RBIs in 42 at-bats for the yankees during spring training this season. He made the most of his few chances in the big leagues last season for the Yankees, tallying four hits in seven at-bats -- including two doubles.
The 23-year-old Andular mostly split time between Trenton and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre last season, hitting .315 with 16 homers and 82 RBIs in 125 games.
Florial, 20, had six hits and 10 strikeouts in 26 at-bats for the Yankees during spring training. He has yet to make his major league debut and appeared in just one spring training game last season.
