The Red Sox and Yankees revisited the 2004 ALCS as both teams took shots at each other on Twitter.
On this day 13 years ago, the play known as "The Steal" sparked the Red Sox' miraculous comeback in the 2004 ALCS. The Red Sox took to Twitter to say that this day is "basically a holiday" in Boston.

The Yankees didn't let that one slide as they decided to remind the Red Sox of their postseason chances this year. They were kicked out by the Astros, who the Yankees play in Game 4 of this year's ALCS on Tuesday.
They urged the Red Sox to tune into the game.
Ah, work day for us. Game time is 5:08pm, if you're not busy.- New York Yankees (@Yankees) October 17, 2017
The Red Sox had no answer for that tweet except for a "rolling eyes" emoji.
