The Yankees' offense was dry until Rashad Crawford brought two runs home in the bottom of the ninth to force a 2-2 tie against the Orioles on Friday night.
Things to know about Friday's game...
1) This Yankees lineup looked good on paper, but the results didn't follow. Giancarlo Stanton was the only starter to get a hit (1-for-2, BB), while players like Gary Sanchez, Luke Voit, Gleyber Torres, DJ LeMahieu, Aaron Judge, and Brett Gardner went hitless.
2) James Paxton had another solid outing over two innings. He allowed just one run on a solo homer, while allowing just one other hit. He also struck out three hitters with one walk as well.
3) Tommy Kahnle provided a perfect inning in relief for the Yanks. He struck out all three batters he faced, and that's exactly what New York wants to see from the righty who is hoping for a bounce-back season in 2019.
4) Clint Frazier had only two plate appearances late in the game, but he provided a nice double to left field. He also walked in the bottom of the ninth, serving as one of the runs later in the inning.
