Estevan Florial, OF, High-A Tampa (No. 1, MLB No. 47) -- ETA 2021
Florial had a modestly better week than he had turned in of late, going 5-for-22 in his last five games, which including his second home run of the season. Florial has struck out 30 times among his 81 at-bats.
Albert Abreu, RHP, Double-A Trenton (No. 3) -- ETA 2020
Abreu was touched up for six runs on eight hits and three walks in just 4 1/3 innings in his most recent start. The outing derailed a four-game string in which Abreu had allowed just three runs in his last 21 innings.
Deivi Garcia, RHP, Double-A Trenton (No. 4) -- ETA 2020
Garcia followed his dominant 15-strikeout scoreless effort with five shutout innings that included nine more strikeouts. In 47 innings with Trenton, Garcia now possesses a 2.68 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, .171 batting average against and a whopping 71 strikeouts.
Anthony Seigler, C, Low-A Charleston (No. 6) -- ETA 2022
Seigler went 4-for-14 this past week with six walks, which boosted his average to .261 and his on base percentage to .452 across 62 plate appearances. Seigler has just two extra-base hits among his 12 knocks.
Everson Pereira, OF, Class A Short Season Staten Island (No. 7) -- ETA 2022
Pereira went 5-for-20 over the last week and added two stolen bases. Pereira owns a .408 OPS on the young season, with 17 strikeouts and just one walk in 52 plate appearances.
Trevor Stephan, RHP, Double-A Trenton (No. 8) -- ETA 2020
Stephan's rough season continued as he allowed four runs in three innings after being demoted to Tampa. Stephan had disappointed at Trenton with a 6.27 ERA in 37 1/3 innings (10 starts).
Antonio Cabello, OF, Rookie Advanced Pulaski (No. 9) -- ETA 2022
Cabello had a six-game hitting streak snapped on Thursday. Cabello's batting average still sits be-low the Mendoza line (.190), but he has driven in seven runs in 10 games for Pulaski.
Roansy Contreras, RHP, Low-A Charleston (No. 10) -- ETA 2022
Contreras turned in one of his best efforts of late, hurling five innings of one-run ball. Contreras allowed just three hits and two walks while striking out six batters. The outing decreased Contreras' ERA to 4.60 in 72 1/3 innings this season.
Nick Nelson, RHP, Double-A Trenton (No. 11) -- ETA 2020
Nelson endured his worst start of the season, coughing up six runs on seven hits and five walks in 3 1/3 innings. Nelson's ERA jumped to 4.28 in 27 1/3 innings.
Luis Medina, RHP, Low-A Charleston (No. 14) -- ETA 2022
After a nine-day break between starts, Gil allowed two runs on four hits and three walks in six innings of work to notch his third win of the season. Gil struck out nine batters, making it the fifth time in 13 starts this season that he's struck out at least nine hitters in a contest. Gil owns a 1.93 ERA in 65 2/3 innings for the RiverDogs.
