Who is starting for the Yankees?
RHP Domingo German (5.37 ERA/4.45 FIP, 1.27 WHIP in 68.2 innings this season), who took a no-decision in his last start against the Braves. He allowed three runs on six hits (two homers) while striking out six and walking three over 4.1 innings of work.
German's numbers are high this season, but they are even higher on the road. He owns a 6.26 ERA in away starts compared to a 4.79 ERA at home. He'll look to lower that number today
Who is starting for the Blue Jays?
LHP Ryan Borucki (2.77 ERA/2.35 FIP, 1.23 WHIP in 13 innings over two starts) who will make his third big league start today. His last came against the Tigers where he allowed two runs on six hits while striking out eight and walking none over seven strong innings.
Borucki has impressed since getting called up, going at least six innings in each of his two starts. It will be interesting to see how he fares against a powerhouse lineup like the Yanks.
