Who is starting tonight for the Yankees?
RHP Sonny Gray (4.81 ERA/4.31 FIP, 1.46 WHIP), who had his best start as a Yankee his last time out against the Blue Jays. Gray threw eight shutout innings, allowing only two hits while striking out eight and walking two.
Gray has had stellar outings in three of his last four starts. Unfortunately, those three starts came on the road. The outlier was his last start at Yankee Stadium, where he let up five earned on seven hits over 3.2 innings.
Gray has a very inflated 7.22 ERA at home compared to a 2.83 ERA on the road.
