Jerry Reese was a guest on This Week in Football on YES last night.? He made several comments about what his team must do to right the ship going forward, none more telling than those regarding QB Eli Manning.

as per out colleague Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN NY...

?I think they have to come from within himself,? Reese told YES Network?s Kimberly Jones in an interview that will air today on ?This Week in Football.? ?When you have a seven-year veteran in the National Football League, you?ve won a Super Bowl, you?ve been the MVP of Super Bowl? I think he?s going to put the onus on him, and that?s where the onus is, it?s on him.?

Manning threw for 4002 yards and 31 touchdowns. But Manning, who just turned 30, enters his prime coming off a season with 25 picks. Manning was a victim of several passes going off the hands off his own receivers. He had five wide receivers go on injured reserve and lost his most trusted receiver -- Steve Smith ?- for seven games. Also, he had to deal with an offensive line that was in constant flux due to injuries.
