Five takeaways from Sunday's game

1) Ford came in in the third inning to replace Didi Gregorius, who left the game after being hit by a pitch. Ford took advantage of the opportunity, extending the Yankee lead to 3-1 in the sixth inning with a home run to right. The addition of a new starter has been front and center when it comes to trade talks involving the Yankees and GM Brian Cashman. But that isn't the only pitching options he's looking to pursue this summer.

Sprinkled in have been notions that the Yankees are checking in on the reliever market as well. Players like Tigers' closer Shane Greene and Diamondbacks RHP Archie Bradley have been mentioned to be on the Yankees' radar.

"Working all angles," Cashman told The Post's George A. King III.
