The Knicks will work out some intriguing prospects in the coming days.

On Friday, the team will host the following players.

• Ricardo Ledo, Guard, 6-6, 180, Providence, Freshman

• Tahj Tate, Guard, 6-4, 190, Delaware State, Sophomore

• Adonis Thomas, Guard/Forward, 6-7, 240, Memphis, Sophomore

• Christian Watford, Forward, 6-9, 232, Indiana, Senior

• Tony Mitchell, Forward, 6-8, 235, North Texas, Sophomore

• Grant Jerrett, Forward, 6-10, 235, Arizona, Freshman currently has the Knicks taking Mitchell with the No. 24 pick in the June 27 NBA Draft.

But Ledo is also a fascinating possiblity. A born scorer who has been compared to O.J. Mayo, he was ineligible at Providence this past season and then opted to enter the draft.

“I think he’s a 25-30 guy and if not, certainly in the top of the second round,” one veteran NBA scout recently told “He’s an intriguing prospect, but it’s a very tricky deal as far as you haven’t seen him play at a high level.

“I watched him do 35 minutes of shooting at a walk through during the season and it was one of the greatest shooting exhibitions I’ve ever seen,” the same NBA scout said. “The coaching staff over there thought he was gonna be the Big East Player of the Year next year.”

Meantime, the Knicks on Tuesday will work out former Michigan guard Tim Hardaway Jr., his agent, Mark Bartelstein, told

The 6-6 Hardaway is projected by DraftExpress to go No. 25 to the L.A. Clippers.

He also works out next week for the Cleveland Cavaliers (Monday), Boston Celtics (Thursday) and the Indiana Pacers (Friday).

"He's doing great," Bartelstein said. "His value is sky-rocketing, to say the least. He's done really, really well and there's a ton of interest in him and he's creating that because he's done so well everywhere he's gone. He's really, really helped himself."
