The Knicks will head into their matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers a bit banged up.

Derrick Rose has been listed on Knicks injury report as questionable for Tuesday night’s game with a sore right ankle. This marks the first time the 33-year-old has been listed this season. This is significant considering the team’s starting point guard, Kemba Walker has already played a back-to-back set, his first since the 2019-20 season.

Tuesday’s game against the Lakers may have been Tom Thibodeau’s chance to give his new acquisition the night off, but with Rose compromised that may not be the case. The Knicks will see how Rose feels before the game to make a decision on his availability.

Also in the Knicks injury department is center Taj Gibson. The 36-year-old is nursing a sore groin and is listed as doubtful. Gibson has already missed Saturday and Sunday’s games against the Houston Rockets and Chicago Bulls.

Mitchell Robinson is confirmed out for the game against the Lakers as the center is under concussion protocol. Robinson suffered a concussion after being hit in the face against the Rockets and missed Sunday's game against the Bulls because of the league’s concussion protocol.

The Knicks will take on the Lakers on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
