After 35 losses over their last 49 games dating back to the 2015 season, the Jets fired head coach Todd Bowles.
CEO Christopher Johnson announced the decision Sunday night after New York's 38-3 loss to the Patriots.
Bowles' tenure included a 24-40 record and five different starting quarterbacks -- Ryan Fitzpatrick, Geno Smith, Bryce Petty, Josh McCown and Sam Darnold -- but it will be known for four seasons without a playoff berth.
