The Jets will be without QB Sam Darnold on Sunday for a third-straight game, with Josh McCown again getting the start

Jets head coach Todd Bowles had said earlier in the week that would wait until Sunday to make a decision on Darnold, who has missed the last two games due to a strained right foot injury he suffered during Week 9 against the Dolphins.

Darnold was listed as questionable on Friday's injury after being limited in practice for the third straight day.

McCown was listed as ready to play and was a full participant in Friday's practice after hurting his back and right hand against the Patriots during the Jets' Week 12 loss.

This week marked the first time since his injury that Darnold participated in practice, albeit limited.

Since replacing Darnold, McCown has thrown for 411 yards and a touchdown with three interceptions in two games -- both losses -- for the Jets, who are in the midst of a five-game losing streak.
