The Jets have the No. 3 pick in the draft, but one player they could target is considered co-favorites to go No. 1.
Ohio State pass rusher Nick Bosa is tied with Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray with the best odds (+110) to go first overall to the Arizona Cardinals, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
Many mock drafts have the Cardinals drafting Bosa or Kentucky OLB Josh Allen, who has the fourth-best odds (+1200) to go No. 1.
But amid speculation that Arizona could draft Murray first overall, one year after drafting Josh Rosen 10th overall, it would be a "dream scenario" for the Jets, SNY.tv's Ralph Vacchiano writes.
How? It would mean that should the Jets stay at No. 3 and not trade down, they would be in position to draft either Bosa or Allen, two of the most prized pass rushers in the draft.
Of course, should Arizona pass on Murray and pick one of them, the Jets could still draft a defensive player. Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, who has the third-best odds to go No. 1 (+450), may be an option.
