RJ Barrett has signed his first shoe deal as an NBA player.
The third overall pick has signed a multi-year deal with Puma, who teased the announcement by painting a "New York loves RJ" mural on the side of a building on 31st Street in Manhattan earlier this week.
Puma later added their logo over the heart once the deal was officially announced.
Barrett, decked out in Puma gear, posed for photos in front of the mural on Wednesday as part of the announcement.

Puma has been building its NBA exposure over the past couple of seasons, agreeing to endorsement deals with players like DeMarcus Cousins, Danny Green, Rudy Gay, Vince Carter, and Marvin Bagley, among others.
PUMA Global Director of Brand and Marketing Adam Petrick released the following statement:
"We are thrilled to have RJ join the PUMA family as we enter our second season of PUMA Hoops. He's obviously an incredible talent and we're proud that he's bringing his bold personality to our brand. We're especially pleased to have a young, game changing athlete in New York - the home of Walt "Clyde" Frazier, and PUMA Hoops. We look forward to a strong partnership with him and a fantastic rookie season ahead."
Barrett joins current Knicks teammate Kevin Knox as a Puma-endorsed athlete.
