Maybe this is what Julius Randle meant in July when he said the Knicks have got dogs.
Maybe not.
But if one thing's for certain, it's that Kingston Barrett's defense could use a little bit of work.
Knicks rookie RJ Barrett posted a video of himself working out and shooting around at home on Saturday, with his dog Kingston playing some questionable defense. The third overall pick in last year's draft, Barrett dribbles around his dog for a few seconds before knocking down a step-back jumper.

In all seriousness, it's great to see any NBA players getting some shots up these days, as the league continues its pause in action due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Barrett, the Duke product from Toronto, started 55 of the 56 games he played in before the stoppage, taking on a huge role with the Knicks during his first season in the NBA.
The lefty averaged 14.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists, shooting 40.2 percent from the floor overall and 32.0 percent from beyond the three-point arc. In the Knicks' final game before the season was suspended, Barrett had one of his best performances, scoring 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting with five rebounds and four assists.
Knicks fans everywhere are eager for Barrett and the rest of the team to get back on the floor as soon as it's medically safe.
