Justin Verlander's dominant outing leads Mets to a 2-1 win over the Reds | Mets Highlights

Justin Verlander's second start of the season yielded a much-needed win over the Cincinnati Reds Wednesday night at the Great American Ball Park. The Reds struck first with an RBI double in the first inning, but the Mets quickly responded with Pete Alonso's 13th homer run of the season. Brandon Nimmo drove in the second run with a two-out single. Adam Ottavino and David Robertson each came in for relief, holding the Reds 2-1.
